We had another great start to the year.
January was 'holiday month' and we all relaxed and got right into the mood.
Well, that was until Tony hurt his back and spent a few nights sleeping in the theatre as we couldn't get him up the stairs. Guess it was nature's way of telling him nicely to SLOW DOWN!
The boys headed back to school at the end of the month. See the School page for more on their endeavours in that area.
February saw us take a lightning visit to Melbourne for Grandpa's 70th birthday party. A quick visit but a great time was had by all. See photo album pages for more on that. Something we didn't photograph was the morning we came downstairs to find a snake beside the kitchen table. Made for interesting talk over breakfast, let me tell you! Fortunately there is a wonderful snake man who comes and collects them. It was, luckily, a green snake but I was still seen hovering at the top of the stairs, clearly not wanting to come down.
Back to the hockey field in March. Still, it's not nearly as cold as those Saturday mornings at Wattle Park. Tennis was back on for Josh and Sam all the boys started Hapkido martial arts training. We also found that the three boys needed to visit the orthodontist, so that one is a big 'wait and see' for all. More holidays for the boys at the end of March and Josh's 9th birthday was cause for celebration.
Coming Up...
Cross country for Luke and Josh, Hapkido grading with possible yellow belts and a visit from the Whitby family.
