School Days back with us for another year.
Luke is now grade 5, Josh is in 4 and Sam represents the family in grade 2. A few new things for the boys this year. Luke has joined the grade 5 band and now is learning clarinet while continuing with the double bass. The band had their first performance recently and played some tunes which we were able to recognize. Josh and Sam have both taken up guitar this year, with a goal of learning electric guitar next year. Josh has already started taking names for a band he is going to form at some later stage. For any interested musicians, it is going to be along the lines of Jet crossed with Living End with a pinch of John Butler Trio (and a little Jack Johnson just for his Mum).
Josh is very big on cross country running this year and has been to early morning training twice a week. His times have improved and he is looking forward to the competition to be held on 19 April.
Sam had a wonderful time displaying his hat at the Easter parade. This was followed by a dancing display. You will all be very proud to learn his grade did 'Nutbush' and Sam was centre front, with the girls (??) I'm thinking Hugh Jackman.
